ABOUT TEAM SVS
ABOUT TEAM SVS
We, TeamSVS, want to be able to support all 8 members as long as we can. Our team is active all year round, either preparing for upcoming voting events or actively participating in ongoing ones. SVS helps support comeback voting, birthday and anniversary votings, as well as other major votings, like award shows, that occur at various points throughout the year. Consequently, we are selective and strategic when it comes to which polls our team decides to push or not as to avoid burn out for STAYs, our members, and ourselves.
Some of our team’s principles:
1. Not voting as a team means not promoting. If our team is personally not voting there, we are not promoting it because it would be unfair to say vote but we ourselves are not. However, we always allow our members to vote however they want with their personal accounts and STAYs are welcome to decide where they want to vote as well.
2. We are a voting team, not a fanbase. We only utilize our team’s social media accounts to give updates on our team or promote polls our team are currently participating in or plan to in the future. This is not to say that we are against any other projects done by others but we believe it is best for our team’s longevity to focus our energy on voting only.
3. SKZ as a group is our priority. If SKZ as a group is nominated on a poll along with the members as individuals, our priority will always be to vote for SKZ as a group. We understand, optimistically, the ideal solution would be to vote for everyone who is nominated but, statistically speaking, it is already extremely difficult to win for SKZ alone most of the time and pushing to vote for everyone on the same poll would be dividing votes and decreasing the odds of winning anything.
4. Comeback is our 1st priority. In the event of overlapping interest on voting apps, our team’s priority is to save for comeback. For example, our team saves ruby chamsims for comeback and do not participate in other votings that exclusively utilizes only ruby chamsims. In the past, we also used ruby chamsims for major award votings like SMA and APAN, but the votings were extremely costly as well as controversial (SMA). We feel it is best for our team to put financial expenses as well as the ruby chamsims (that have been increasingly harder to collect over the years) towards comeback.
5. Vote for all 8 members equally. If we push for one member, we must push for all members. For instance, if we push for mission ads, like 30M hearts and 50M hearts ads on KDOL for one member's birthday, we will do the same for all other members. However, some birthday polls can only have a limited number of winners. Pushing for all nominated members to win is unideal due to the competitive nature of most polls. Without a clear and equal plan for which member is to be prioritized which year, our team cannot push these types of polls.
We understand there are varying opinions on which polls should be pushed or not and, ultimately, each fanbase, team, and STAY has the right to decide what is best for them.
